Ziplining in Nepal in Nepal has gained much popularity over the years. Zipflyer(Highground Adventures) was started in Nepal in 2010 in Pokhara. Since then, several Zipline service has started in different parts of the country. The two major Ziplines are Highground Adventures in Pokhara and Dhulikhel Zipline in Dhulikhel, near Kathmandu.
Zipflyer Nepal is one of the longest and the steepest zip lines in Nepal. It spans over 1.8 km with a 600m vertical drop at the speed of 100 miles per hour. The launchpad for Highground Adventures is at Sarangkot. While the landing station is at Hyangja. Furthermore, it offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna and the Machhapuchhre as you zip-line over the forest towards Hyangja.
Dhulikhel Zipline is situated about 30 km east of Kathmandu at Dhulikhel. Also, it covers a distance of 1.1 km with a 73 m vertical drop at a speed of 60-95 miles per hour. The launchpad is at Thakle. Likewise, the landing station at Khawa, Panchkhal.
