Classic tour of Nepal includes the ancient arts, crafts, and rich cultural heritage of ancient Nepal along with visits to markets, remote villages, wildlife safari in Chitwan along with spectacular mountain view. This trip involves a moderate walking and hiking experience in Mustang. The trip ends in the magical city of Kathmandu covering world heritage sites that include temples, monasteries art & craft, and medieval palaces.
This tour starts with a drive to Chitwan National Park where you will experience and participate in various Jungle activities. Chitwan National Park is home to Asia’s last population of the one-horned Rhino and the Asiatic Elephant along with several species of wildlife. Drive out of the wilderness of Chitwan National Park to Pokhara, which presents the best views of the Himalayas. Further, you will take a scenic flight to Jomsom, where you will spend two days hiking across the villages in the Annapurna region and finally end the trip with the exploration of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu valley.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at the airport, meet and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, you have an option to stroll around Thamel and the local streets of Kathmandu. Welcome dinner in the evening with a typical Nepali cultural program. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu-Chitwan
After an early breakfast, we shall descend through a winding mountain road along the banks of the Trishuli River to Chitwan. The drive to Chitwan takes about 5-6hrs/165km, the Chitwan National Park covers an area of 360 square miles at the Himalayan foothills and is home to a variety of rare wildlife species including the Royal Bengal tiger, leopards, sloth bears, Asiatic rhinoceros, and Asiatic elephants. On arrival check into the resort where you will spend two nights. Later in the afternoon, we will take a walk to explore a local Tharu village, home to the ingenious people of the Terai. After exploring the local village, enjoy the riverside sunset view, where you will be able to see various wild lives like Rhino and several bird species. In the evening you will be treated to a slide show regarding the diverse flora and fauna of Chitwan, and a cultural show performance by the Tharu tribe, followed by dinner. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 3: In Chitwan
Enjoy a full day in Chitwan National park. You can participate in a number of activities, enjoy an elephant safari, take a short canoe ride on the Rapti River, and take a walk through the jungle before visiting the Elephant Breeding Centre and the Gharial (a native crocodile) Breeding Centre. Return to your lodge for dinner and the evening is at leisure. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 4: Chitwan-Pokhara
In the morning you can go bird watching at the river deck and after breakfast drive to Pokhara(135km/5hrs). Upon arrival check into the hotel and later free time is allotted to stroll around the lakeside and browse the shops and cafes around the lakeside. Overnight in Pokhara
Day 5: In Pokhara
Early morning, set off to Sarangkot to catch the spectacular sunrise view over the Annapurna range and the Machapuchre. Return to the hotel for breakfast and after breakfast full day sightseeing covering Bindabasani temple, Seti George, boat ride in Phewa Lake, Barahi temple, Devis Fall, Mahendra cave, Gupteswor cave, and the International Mountain Museum. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 6: Pokhara-Jomsom
After breakfast take the 35 minutes flight to Jomsom, the Himalayan district of Mustang. Jomsom is well known as a scenic Tibetan natural mountain village that lies at an altitude of 2700m along the banks of the Kali Gandaki river. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel, the rest of the evening is free to rest and relax or you can take a stroll around the village and observe the local lifestyle of people. Overnight in Jomsom.
Day 7: Jomsom-Marpha-Jomsom
Marpha village(2665m) situated roughly about 7.5 km is an ethnic Thakali village known for its culture and hospitality, it is also famous for apple orchards and it's stone lined streets. Explore the village meeting local people and learning about their cultural tradition and day to day life. After the visit retrace to Jomsom for overnight. Overnight in Jomsom.
Day 8: Jomsom-Muktinath
This morning, we hike to Kagbeni, it takes 3 to 4 hours, depending on your walking speed. It is a gradual flat walk with a beautiful view along the way. Lunch at Kagbeni(2810m), after lunch hike further to Muktinath(5-6hrs). Muktinath is an important religious pilgrimage site for both Hindus and as well as the Buddhist. There is a Buddhist and a Hindu temple side by side, behind the temple there are 108 waterspouts where the pilgrims take a bath in the icy cold holy water. Overnight in Muktinath.
Day 9: Muktinath-Jomsom
Early in the morning visit the holy temple of Muktinath and retrace our hike back to Jomsom. The hike is an easy and downhill walk until Eklebhatti. From here it is a flat downhill walk and arrive at Jomsom. Overnight in Jomsom.
Day 10: Fly to Kathmandu
In the morning transfer to the airport and take a spectacular flight back to Pokhara. On arrival in Pokhara, connect flight to Kathmandu (35 min Jomsom to Pokhara & 30 min. Pokhara to Kathmandu). Meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. The evening is at leisure. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 11: Kathmandu valley tour
Full day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley that includes, Pashupatinath temple and Baudhanath stupa and the Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 12: Departure
Transfer to the airport as per your flight schedule for final departure.

My Name is EDhan from California, America. I am a retired management consultant. Basically, this visit to Nepal exceeded my expectations. We came here through Tibet and Bhutan. Here in Nepal, I like the neighbourhood and friendly people. My wife every day used to go for morning walk and used to tell me the story about the local people, whatever she sees every day. Especially, the guide was most knowledgeable and made it possible and get a sense of not only historical and religious value of some of the places but also some of the other places how the people live over there day to day.
The company was able to manage all the services smoothly and made the memorable trip in Kathmandu. Do not be afraid of Earthquake; the government has done very good job, lots of cleaning up and reconstructions are going on. There are many places to go without facing any problems. Feel free to make a trip to Nepal nothing to afraid of and you will feel the completely different and unique. Hi, My Name is Margo Boston, America. We were planning the trip to visit Nepal Bhutan and Tibet through our local agency. In the beginning, we asked so many questions about safety, especially after the earthquake but we realised that after visiting Nepal it is completely safe & worthful to visit.
We are very glad to see the beautiful country. Everything was perfect and great to see the Hinduism and Buddhism and combinations of religious and cultural aspects in the tiny little city. The trip plan, all the staff activity including cultural show was great.

Hi, My Name is Lori, and I came to do the trip with my daughter. After the earthquake had happened we were confused, what should we do, should we go or should we not go for Nepal Trip and finally we decided to come after the consultation, and we had a wonderful time there. The tour guide and driver and all the staff were done magnificent job. There is so much to see and worthful to visit. The hotel was excellent, the food was great, we enjoyed our time. The Buddhist and Hindu temple were fascinating. Our guide was brilliant and enhanced all experience and knowledge he passed all the knowledge to us and shared the ideas. I encourage you to visit Nepal it is one of the incredible places around the world.

Hi ! This is Palm from America, this is my first trip to Nepal and has been perfect and life time memorable. I have travelled many places around the world and really been looking forward to this trip. Nepal is a very colourful country, I was concerned because of the earthquake and because of the impact might right now. I was pleasantly surprised that yes they did have an impact and there are lots of reconstruction are going on. There are lots of places to see and open for the tourist. The people here are very friendly, all the staffs of Sixth Sense including tour guide and the management and coordination were perfect.
What I like this country is that the culture and diversity of landscape. Besides this Nepal is very vibrant country and colourful country. In the future, I would like to make more trips in Nepal with Sixth Sense spending more time in Kathmandu and it’s surrounding areas and countryside. For the tourist, I would recommend please do visit Nepal with Sixth Sense. Tour Guide and company which was responsible for everything to organise this trip, everything was taken care of all the arrangements were first class.
