Annapurna base camp is situated at 4320m.Itis a mountainous region in the north central of Nepal comprising series of peaks which includes the 10th highest peak Annapurna I, along with thirteen peaks above 8000 m, range and 16 other over 7,000m. The entire surrounding area of the Annapurna region is protected by the Annapurna Conservation Area Project within the 7,639 kilometer square range. This is the first and largest conversation area of Nepal.

The Annapurna Base Camp trekking begin from Nayapul and ends in DhampusPhedi. This trekking trail passes through rural farms and villages, variety of terrain and to glaciers, deep dense forest, rhododendron flowers, beautiful landscape, multicultural ethnic villages, spectacular stunning views of sunrise and sunset. So it makes more outstanding and lifetime experience.

Annapurna Base Camp trekking is a good introductory route for close encounters with the Himalayas in a short period of time.

The Annapurna base camp trekking is combined with Poon Hill (3210m) trek. This trekking route can observe a close up view of Dhaulagiri (8167m), Nilgiri (7041m), Fishtail (6998m,) mount Annapurna I and many more spectacular mountain views.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)
Upon arrival at the airport, meet and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, you have an option to be escorted on a stroll around Thamel and the local streets of Kathmandu. Welcome dinner in the evening with a typical Nepali cultural program.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara(910m) & sight seeing
Early morning after breakfast, drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu via PrithviRajmarga, which is 207.3 km, takes 5hrs approximately. Along the way we will stop in scenic spots, for lunch and to get fresh as well. In the evening, boating on Phewa Lake (around 2hrs), including visit to Barahi temple then Stroll through Lakeside market.

Day 3 Drive Pokhara toNayapul (1050) & Trek to Ulleri (1960) 6hrs
Drive Pokhara(915 m.) to Nayapul (1050m.) by Private vehicle, which takes 1.5hrs drive. Begin trek from Nayapul (1050m) to Ulleri (1960) via Birethanti (1065m) and Tikhedhunga (1577m)  which takes approximately 6 hours.

Day 4: Ulleri to Ghorepani (2855) 5-6hrs
In the morning, start trek to Ghorepani (2855m ) from Ulleri, It will take about 6hrs.

Day 5: Ghorepani hike to Poon Hill (3210m) &Tadapani (2675m) 5-6hrs
Early morning 1.5km hike to Poon Hill (3210m) for great sunrise views of the Himalayas including Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m), Nilgiri (6940m.), VarahaShikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna (8091m.) and many more snow capped mountain. Poon hill is the highest hilltop point and best close up view on the Ghorepani trek. After Breakfast, start trek to Tadapani (2595 m) which will take about 5-6hrs.
Overnight at lodge in Tadapani.

Day 6: Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrung (2140m) – 5-6hrs
Start steep downhill walk through the forests of rhododendrons, leaving Tadapani and descending through the forests, reach Gurung village of Gurjung as the trail eases in the evening reach to Chhomrung which is at the elevation of 2140m.
Overnight at a guesthousein Chhomrung.

Day 7: Trek from Chhomrung to Dovan (2500m) – 5-6hrs
Our trail drops down to the ChhomrungKholaand again we continue climbing to Khuldighar We walk little further clearing the forest and  follow the steeply down trail towards the bottom of the gorge of Dovan.
We stay overnight at a guesthouse in Dovan.

Day 8: Trek from Dovan to Deurali (3230m) – 4hrs
It’s relatively short trek for today, our day begins early in the morning with the climb through bamboo forests first, and then through the forest of rhododendron and reach to Dovan which will take about 4 hours.

Day 9: Trek from Deurali toMachhapuchre Base camp (2700m)& Annapurna Base Camp (4131m) – 5hrs
Starting from Deurali and passing through the Machhapuchhre Base Camp which is often known as Annapurna Sanctuary as the area is surrounded by mountains, we trek further two hours to reach Annaupurna Base Camp at the elevation of 4131m. From Annapurna Base Camp, you can observe some of the spectacular views of mountains. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 10: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) to Bamboo (2345m) – 6hrs
Today, we return to Bamboo following the same trail back. Our trail drops by 1700m to the bank of ModiKhola to Bamboo at 2345m. You can find few teahouses/lodges available to stay at Bamboo. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 11: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinudada hot Spring (1780m) – 5hrs
Until Chhomrung, we follow the same trail back from Bamboo. Once we have passed Khuldighar, we continue our trail through rhododendron and bamboo fields. The trail descends very steeply from Chhomrung to Jhinu Hot Spring. You can enjoy the natural hot springs at Jhinu.

Day 12: Trek from Jhinudada to DhampusPhedi (950m) & drive to Pokhara 6-7hrshike &one-hour drive
Early morning start descend to through Landruk (1565m), Tolkha  andDhampus (1650) and arrive to DhampusPhedi (950m), our ending point of trek then drive about one hour to reach to Pokhara.
Overnight in Pokhara

Day 13:Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu
Early morning have a breakfast and drive to Kathmandu (216km) via Prithivi Highway, which will take approximately 6 hrs. Arrive in Kathmandu, check in to the hotel and enjoy rest of the afternoon as a leisure or you have option to do the last minute shopping.
Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 14:Departure
You will be transfer to the airport by private vehicle for departure according to the flight schedule.
